withstore @ Rokeby London

In 2010 we created a range of off-the-shelf limited edition solutions for our second solo show at Rokeby. During the exhibition we could be commissioned to accidentally break a glass on behalf of visitors to the exhibition for £100. The commissioner would be shown to a back space in the gallery and told to sign a glass and place it on a plinth. They were then told to stand behind a protective screen and wait for the performance to begin. A blindfolded WITH agent would then appear and slowly walk around the room until they 'accidentally' knocked over the plinth and smashed the glass. Other solutions included being really happy for you (for a period of your choosing), running on your behalf, remembering a lost moment from your past and taking the blame on your behalf.
